How the calculation works
The start date is considered, while the end date follows your inclusion setting. Weekends are excluded using the selected pattern. Enter actual applicable holidays; no national calendar is supplied. Duplicate holidays and holidays outside the interval are ignored, and a holiday on a weekend is not deducted twice.
A worked example
Monday October 19 through Friday October 23, 2026 inclusive contains 5 weekdays. Excluding an entered Wednesday holiday leaves 4.
Reading your result
Use the main result together with its units and supporting figures. Display values are rounded; calculations keep their underlying precision. A change in inputs or assumptions can change the answer. Compare the step-by-step working with your intended use before relying on an estimate.
